This is to mark my visit to Mt. Malarayat in Lipa, Batangas, during our 18th Annual Convention.
I know there are a lot of "mistakes" in this drawing. Can anyone tell me please how to improve this?
This picture was taken by flickr friends, John and Fish.
I wish to thank them for allowing me to use their photo to make this watercolor painting.

It is good to be back to watercolor after a period of hibernation... trying to retrieve a certain feel to it.
Sometimes it takes a lot of courage to post something. One fears that it may never get any attention or if it does, the comments are all too kind. At the end of the day, the most helpful comment is that which teaches and points a need to improve.

I hope you don't get tired of these experimentations on the background!
I had so much fun doing this. Let me know what you think.

Will someone tell me how to make this drawing better? Thanks for your time.

It has been raining a lot lately. Two typhoons came by and caused some flooding in many suburbs. I tried using a new smooth paper this time.

My daughter Tamtam insisted I should try drawing a different subject. She thinks I am stuck with flowers.
After this drawing, she gathered her pile of stuffed toys for a "family pose!" Call that encouragement!
Putting a background has always been a daunting task to me. So I decided to include the garden and footwalk in situ.
